A young opener of some promise, Manan Vohra made his first-class debut for Punjab in 2011-12, but made his mark only a couple of seasons later, with half-centuries against Vidarbha and Karnataka, and a matchwinning 187 against Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy.
Manan was also a regular in the Kings XI Punjab line-up in IPL 2013, often batting at No. 3. He managed a few sparkling cameos, but didn't make the most of those opportunities, scoring 161 runs in ten innings. Just a week after scoring that 187 against Jharkhand, Manan was also one of only two players retained by Kings XI for the 2014 IPL season.
