PV Sindhu is a professional badminton player and an icon of Indian badminton.
She’s the first Indian woman to win two Olympics medals, winning the silver medal at the Rio Olympics and a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
Sindhu is also a gold medal winner at the 2019 World Championships. Prior to winning gold she won the silver medal in the 2017 and 2018 editions.
The ace shuttler is the recipient of the Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna, India’s highest sporting honour.
